Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Ordofinder handles personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG).
Controller
The controller within the meaning of Art. 4(7) GDPR is Jeremias C. Wilcke. The full postal address and contact details are listed at the bottom of this page and in the Imprint.
Processing activities
When you browse the archive we process the technical data your browser sends (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) to deliver the page and protect the service. When you create an account we additionally process your email address, display name and reviewer role. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
Cookies and local storage
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (Supabase session) and a local-storage entry to remember your cookie-banner choice. No advertising, tracking or analytics cookies are set. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your site data.
Hosting and database (Supabase)
The application is hosted on Vercel (USA/EU) and uses Supabase (EU region) for authentication and the church database. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with both providers.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
Retention
Access logs are kept for a maximum of 14 days. Account data is retained as long as your account exists; invite and moderation records are kept for as long as needed to operate the editorial four-eyes process.
